The vampyre tyrant hated by most! Amdis was a direct descendant of Elwen, born and raised in Valentine. He was bit by a vampyre and turned into one when he was in his 20s, becoming a spawn for 500 years. He soon fought back and became a vampyre lord himself, and is now a well known and feared tyrant of Synqinyr with his own army of spawn. He occupies the castle in Synqinyr and rarely leaves. Amdis is best described as cruel and self-centered. All of his decisions are for his own gain with little regard for the consequences — for both him and others around him. He is sadistic, enjoying the suffering and sorrow of his vampyre spawn and the townsfolk of Synqinyr. He never takes no for an answer, and fully expects everyone to follow his every command... and with his power, most people do. He is very charismatic, though — if you didn't know anything about him, he would seem to be a kind, trustworthy individual... until he gets what he wants from you. He is usually quite smart about gaining trust and loyalty before exposing his true self, able to read others like a book to know just what makes them tick. Though, he often has manic episodes that last for weeks that end up in him making uncharacteristically irrational decisions. |
RELATIONSHIPS

Amdis is — as much as he doesn't want to admit it — deeply in love with Szordyn. He is the first person he truly related to in many, many years. Amdis trusts him with his life... which is probably a mistake. They met after Amdis put up a difficult request, which Szordyn completed with ease. Amdis invited him over for tea, and their friendship blossomed from there over their similarities which mostly consisted of being murderers and just pure evil. Plus, they were both fascinated by the other’s species — Amdis with szarkai drow, Szordyn with vampyres. |
 LUNDEN |
Lunden is Amdis' "favorite" spawn...AKA, the one he pays the most attention to, both positive and negative. Amdis finds him very fun to tease and abuse, but does appreciate him and his hard work (which is entirely fueled by Amdis' threats to leave him flayed in the sun). As a result of Lunden's loyalty to him, he gave him his own room and gifts him roses (Lunden's favorite). |
