PURA, THE LOVIATAN

Pura is a cleric devoted to The Maiden of Pain, Loviatar. Their days consist of whipping themself in prayer and attempting to indoctrinate the Ilmater paladin they have found themself travelling with. (Candela)

They were born and raised in a Loviatan temple and grew up to be a high ranked priest, a Whipmistress/master. Though, they left to become a "pain"— someone who spreads Loviatar's faith— alongside the desire to simply explore the world.

They met Candela, an Ilmater paladin, and despite being told that they should wipe all of Ilmater's followers from the world, they decided to travel with her. Not because they like Candela, but because they enjoy bothering and teasing her. The two eventually stumbled upon one of Ara's papers asking for help, and became two of the adventurers to help him.

They have barely any experience with "normal" people outside of their Loviatan temple and community, leading to them driving people away unintentionally with their odd behavior. They are also obsessed with pain and introducing others to the joy it brings, thus coming across as aggressive or pressuring. Theyre pretty social, but look and act very unnerving.

Pura has short spiky black hair, some weird coat thing that is very revealing, showing their multitude of scars + a harness. Has a spiked collar and spiked boots. They also have a "missing" leg that isn't completely gone, just the skin, which has been replaced by a weird hard green see-through substance, in which you can see the bone. They have a split tongue, and they have a bridge, frog eyes (tongue), septum, cheeks, vertical labret & 2 rings (on lip), and nostril (both sides) piercing.
