The more recent troublemaker! Szordyn is a szarkai drider with the power of a lesser deity. When he was born with the name Calrin, he was treated specially, being born a Szarkai— AKA, a blessing from Lolth. He was trained to be a spy from a very young age, as Szarkai could pass as other races of elf, and he was taught bard magic. Though, he had a sister named Miz'ri who was fatally ill. When sent on a rather important mission, he instead used his time to learn about medicine to try and help Miz'ri. For his disobedience, he was turned into a drider.

For his first years as a drider, he acted no different from the others. Scared, weak, hostile— but he met a group of driders who helped him regain his sanity. He took the new name Szordyn, and learned how to actually fight, alongside getting his battleaxe. A few years later, he found a hidden temple to a lesser deity in the Middledark— Aranea, the goddess of Underdark creatures. She was immediately obsessed with Szordyn's form, seeming to have a thing for driders, and Szordyn took advantage of that, baiting her into blessing him with powers. And she did.

Szordyn now roams the land with no fear of sunlight, no need to worry about others seeing his drider form— as he can now shapeshift— and no need to worry about being destroyed.

Szordyn's personality changes with every person he meets. He changes everything about himself to best support himself with allies, then either slaughters or scares them off once he's bored with them. He is consistently an assertive, dominant figure, though. He doesn't follow any specific code— he just does what will help him the most.

RELATIONSHIPS


AMDIS		 Szordyn finds Amdis very interesting, which is the only reason he hasn't attempted to kill the vampyre yet. Amdis isn't scared of him— he seems to actually like Szordyn. Little does he know, Szordyn is just leading him on... >:)
They met after Amdis put up a difficult request, which Szordyn completed with ease. Amdis invited him over for tea, and their friendship blossomed from there over their similarities which mostly consisted of being murderers and just pure evil. Plus, they were both fascinated by the other’s species — Amdis with szarkai drow, Szordyn with vampyres.

LUNDEN		 Szordyn doesn't pay much attention to Lunden, but knows Lunden hates his guts. Lunden sees him as no better than Amdis, and he is right!

KIERAN		 Szordyn finds Kieran very interesting and somewhat cute— though his curiosity is mainly driven by the fact that Kieran is [REDACTED]. He wants to study Kieran, and he does so by invading his mind.
